Swindon Town defender Kevin Amankwaah will miss the start of the season after suffering a hamstring injury against Chippenham Town on Saturday.
Amankwaah was performing well this pre-season and hoped to show fans that his injury worries were behind him.
The former Swansea City defender was running for a ball Saturday as his leg went stiff and he just fell down in an injury that looked worse than it really was.
Amankwaah missed most of last season at Swansea through injury and will be hopeful that his latest set-back is not a long term problem.
