Iffy Onuora has praised the club’s posse’ of loan players. Swindon, who are currently five points below fellow strugglers at the basement of League One, have six loan players in the squad.

Iffy said: ‘The contributions of all the loan players has been first class this season. All of them – Tom Heaton, Colin Heath, Andy Gurney, Patrick Collins, Neale McDermott and Hameur Bouazza – whose contract we have just extended – have been excellent. Their attitude has been spot on and they have all expressed an excellent desire to do well. I can’t speak highly enough of them.’

Tom Heaton and Colin Heath are on loan from Manchester United. Andy Gurney from Swansea, Patrick Collins Sheffield Wednesday, Neale McDermott from Fulham and Hameur Bouazza from Watford.

Watford have given permission for The Robins to keep French 20 year old striker Hameur Bouazza until January 1st 2006.

Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd confirmed ‘Hameur will continue to get some much-needed first-team experience. Right now, he wouldn’t be in my team, so it’s better for him and us for him to get some more games under his belt at Swindon.’
