Town boss Paolo Di Canio has told out of favour striker Medhi Kerrouche to find a new club or train like he wants to be part of Swindon Town.

Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser, Di Canio said,

“I had a meeting with him seven days ago and at the end of the meeting I told him I need a different player.

“It would be better for him to go and that was my advice to help him, but if he stays he will be a part of the squad.

In the article it also goes on to explain that Alan Connell and Jonathan Smith despite not playing every match, ask for double training sessions and the hard work has paid off. Di Canio says that Kerrouche should take note of this.

It appears that Kerrouche has been told to leave due to his lack of enthusiasm for training and his attiude towards preparing for matches.

Kerrouche is Town’s top goal scorer this season finding the net 8 times but has not featured since our rubbish performance at Bristol Rovers in December.
