Swindon Town’s game against Gillingham at Priestfield has been moved to 12:30 on police advice.

The last time Gillingham visited Swindon there was a lot of violence outside the ground after Town were thumped 3-0, with the local newspaper blaming Swindon Town fans for the violence.

The 2 teams have a fierce rivalry which stems from the 1980’s and a game that saw Gillingham players arrested.

The last time the 2 teams played Town won 5-0 at the County Ground, this time the 2 teams meet, Swindon could send Gillingham down to League 2 although Gillingham’s home form as of late has picked up.
