Swindon Town chairman Andrew Fitton has been talking this week about building relations with top clubs.
It is believed that Fitton’s work has already built good rapport with Celtic with the loans of Simon Ferry and Ben Hutchinson, Bolton Wanderers with Tope Obadeyi and Danny Ward coming in and Liverpool with the sale of youth goalkeeper Jamie Stephens.
However, the latest club to emerge from Andrew Fitton’s PR adventure is Manchester City.
Talking to local press, Fitton confirmed that talks with City are at an ‘advanced stage’ so next season we could well see some of Roberto Mancini’s young guns in Swindon Town shirts.
