On loan midfielder Simon Ferry is expected to extend is spell at the County Ground until the end of the season.

The 21 year old has become an essential member of Town’s first team alongside Jonathan Douglas since removing Michael Timlin from midfield earlier in the campaign.

Ferry has played in 13 league matches and scored once, at Tranmere but has easily been the most successful temporary addition to the squad.

In an interview before the Huddersfield game Town chairman Andrew Fitton said that a deal had been agreed by Celtic, Ferry and Swindon but nothing could be signed until January.
