Swansea City have signed striker Rory Fallon from Swindon Town for a fee rumoured to be around £300,000.

Originally Fallon pledged his future to Swindon before Christmas by saying he would be signing a new 2 year contract at the County Ground which would likely have a clause stating he could speak to other clubs should Swindon be relegated to League Two.

Swansea City made their interest known, and then Fallon decided that his future was away from the County Ground and that he would not sign an extention but would stay at the County Ground to help the club avoid relegation at the end of the season.

Many fans took this as Fallon saying this would be his last season at Swindon. Therefore the Swindon Town board have decided to cash in on Fallon rather than see him walk away for nothing in the future. The official site says that Fallon had a desire to talk to the Swans and therefore they could afford to risk losing him for nothing.

WE WILL HAVE MORE COMMENTS FROM FANS, AND HOPEFULLY RORY HIMSELF LATER ON THIS EVENING!
