It is expected that Dennis Wise and Gus Poyer will be named manager and assistant manager at Leeds United tomorrow morning.

Statement from Swindon Town FC

Swindon Town FC have appointed Head of Youth / Scouting Director Dave Tuttle as Caretaker Manager with immediate effect.

Tuttle takes over Caretaker Manager role at The County Ground

The 34-year old will be in charge of first team affairs as the club look towards this weekend’s home encounter with Lincoln City.

Tuttle had a spell in charge of Coca-Cola Championship side Millwall during the 2005-6 campaign and joined the backroom staff at The County Ground in the summer.

    You don’t want Tuttle, he was useless at Millwall. You would do really well with Paul Sturrock, if you could afford him.

    That is always the problem when you get a decent manager when in the lower leagues. Mind you we even lost Glen Hoddle to Chelsea when we were promoted to the Premier.. to that obnoxious Ken Bates again, who was the Chelsea chairman at the time. Excuse me while I stick another pin in the voodoo doll of Ken B.
