New Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise has contacted his old manager at Wimbledon, Dave Bassett with an offer to join Wise at Swindon Town by offering him a coaching role. Bassett could be set to replace Ian Woan as Youth Team Manager as well.
Speaking about the potential role Bassett said, ‘Dennis would like me to help with the coaching and act as a bit of a mentor.’
Bassett added: ‘Swindon are a good little club and this is a chance for him to show he can take them forward, build up his career and get his A and Pro licence badges.’
Bassett would become a mentor and help out Wise with the first team set up as well.
