Danny Wilson has secured the services of highly rated Bolton Wanderers striker Danny Ward on a one month loan deal.

The 17 year old Bradford native started his football education with Leeds United before making the switch to Bolton.

Ward has made two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and has scored six goals in the reserves.

Ward follows fellow Bolton youngster Tope Obadeyi to the County Ground. Obadeyi recently completed a three month spell in Wiltshire.

The Swindon Evening Advertiser has reported that Town midfielder Anthony McNamee failed to report for training today.

On the day the emergency loan window closes until the new year it is believed that McNamee is on the brink of a move elsewhere possibly Norwich City. Canaries boss Paul Lambert is an admirer of the sometimes tricky winger who can ignite much excitement when on form but this is sporadic at best.

No news of a transfer has been confirmed despite the 5pm deadline.
