Former Swindon Town midfielder Curtis Weston has been linked with a move to Leeds United after being released by the Wiltshire club.

Weston who would join Dennis Wise at Elland Road was officially released by Town after being told by manager Paul Sturrock he had no future at the club.

Weston had started his Town career on a high note fell out with Sturrock and on a update released by Sturrock he had stated that he and Weston had a difference of opinions on how the pacy midfielder should play.

Should Weston join Leeds it will be the third time he has played under Wise. Weston played for Wise at Millwall prior to joining Swindon last Summer.

    Loss?? He’s no loss to Swindon.

    Just think Leeds have gone from Eric Cantona, Gary McAllister, Harry Kewell etc.. to Curtis Weston in little over 10 years, lol!!
