After failing to win the Scottish Premier League Gordon Strachan has resigned as manager Celtic.

Gordon Strachan’s Celtic were believed to be seriously interested in the Swindon Town striker but his departure has potentially killed off any possible switch.

Strachan is strongly tipped to become the new manager at Sunderland – whether or not the former Aberdeen and Manchester United mifielder will renew his interest elsewhere remains to be seen.
