The Football League apparently is losing patience over Swindon Town’s financial crisis which is getting worse by the day and are believed to be threatening a 15 point deduction similar to Leeds United.
Town are 3 months overdue in paying a £900,000 CVA payment and have promised payment in full as soon as the takeover by Best Holdings has been complete.
The club did not pay the players on time and owe Cheltenham Town £25,000 for a fixture earlier in the season.
Just when things started to look brighter for Swindon, thinks look very bleak indeed and a 15 point deduction now would leave Swindon at -2 points today and 10 points from League One safety.
Leeds, if they did not have their 15 point deduction this season would currently be top of League One with 25 points, 6 points clear of Leyton orient.
