Going into the game Swindon supporters were expecting a pasting so from that point of view, the game didn’t disappoint.

From the get go there was a huge gulf in class and it only took 9 minutes for the massacre to commence with Bakary Sako heading in a James Henry cross to give the visitors a much expected lead.

10 minutes later with Wolves completely bossing the game, Nohua Dicko made it 2-0 slamming home a Sako pass. This was Dicko’s 8th goal in 8 games. Even some Swindon fans were clapping the goal or maybe it was just that they wanted something to cheer about after wasting a Tuesday night freezing half to death to watch the lambs be lead to slaughter.

34 minutes in Sako grabbed his second for Wolves to make it 3-0 to Wolverhampton. The Swindon fans clearly p*ssed off rightfully booed and chanted ‘what a load if rubbish’.

Half time thankfully approached and the team were booed off at half time. At half time there was an over 60’s match which provided far more entertainment than the dross on the pitch from Town.

The second half started and the clueless Mark Cooper decided to make a change taking off the completely out of his depth Dany N’Guessan to bring on super sub George Barker, oh nevermind he’s rubbish too. Much to out bemusement the weakest link of the team Ryan Harley played the whole game. Game was over anyway I guess.

In fairness to Coopers men Town did look a totally different team the second half and Michael Smith managed to slot the ball home on 74 minutes with a clever finish.

On 84 minutes it looked by some miracle that Town might be in with a shot of drawing when a ball just missed going in as it bounced off the goal line.

Crybaby Leon Clarke would come on for the last few minutes and slam the ball home past Tyrell Belford to make the final score 4-1.

Town would entertain in the second half but the first half performance was the worst seen for many a year. Wolves are class and it’s no wonder they are storming the league.

Next up, Ashton Gate and Bristol City in a local derby which if a good result isn’t forthcoming, could see the fans turn on Cooper.
