A few Q & A’s with Vital Walsall editor Jorge’s Jottings.

I. How’s the season comparing with your pre-season expectations?

‘the season has roughly gone as expected. Too many gaps in the squad and serious question marks about the manager meant it was going to be a struggle to repeat last seasons performance’

II. Jimmy Mullen, what went wrong?

‘Jimmy Muddle tactics and use of subs were strange at times. Fans questioned team selection as well the writting was on the wall from day one as the fans viewed him as a cheap option.’

III. Team Chris Hutchings and James O’Connor – Good choice?

‘Time will tell but been two explayers will buy them a bit of time.’

IV. What do they need to do to improve your side?

‘We need a centre half and some extra creativity but putting a stop to playing players out of position would be a start.’

V. How’s Sofi Zaaboub doing (when he’s played)?

‘Nice gloves but to be honest he has not been given a chance under Mullen’

VI. Who’s done the business for you this season?

‘Big Clayton Ince has been as good as anyone.’

VII Be honest as an outsider, what are your immediate thoughts when Swindon Town FC is mentioned?

‘Nice club much like ourselves in many ways. Of course memories of our joint promotion party come to mind as does your time under Glen Hoodle’

VIII Swindon Town vs. Walsall – Your Final Score prediction

‘Recent times we have not done too badly against you and I see a scoring draw this time around.’

Thanks to Vital Walsall.
