Ticket Prices For Rovers Increased

Due to Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers fans swapping chairs during our match in December, Bristol Rovers have put prices up £3.00 for our match at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol Rovers advise that the Football Association is losing patience with Rovers fans who have took it upon themselves to invade the pitch during the last couple of games.

This is a massive fixture for Swindon and could be one that secures promotion back to League One.

More police have been drafted in and due to the idiotic actions of a few fans now, the match is now £3.00 more expensive to watch as Bristol Rovers have to increase the police patrolling the match to ensure all fans safety.

This match was always going to be a nasty affair after trouble flared in the Swindon Town Centre and rail station prior to Town’s win over Rovers at the County Ground.

Over 10,000 fans enjoyed the match only to be disrupted later on with seats flying between both sets of fans.

Over 60 seats were ripped up and thrown at the opposing fans which forced Swindon to increase the segregation area to ensure nothing like this happens again.

We encourage fans going to this fixture to be extra vigilant and to if possible stay in groups.

We also suggest that fans use SAS Travel to get the game as this is likely the safest way to get to the ground.
