Swindon Town are now just a two legged southern area final away from reaching the Johnstones Paint Trophy final at Wembley Stadium after winning 2-1 tonight at Roots Hall.

Town went down 1-0 early in the second half thanks to former Town striker Blair Sturrock slotting home on the 63rd miute.

Town would equalise just six minutes later after Paul Caddis brought Town level.

Ronan Murray would get the winner for Town with a lovely flick on with his first touch after coming on for Jake Jervis.
