The club have confirmed the details of their mini-tour of Austria. Swindon will play two games and take a squad of 21.
David Ball is the only non-permanent member of the team who will travel, the Manchester City forward joined on a six month loan this week.

GAME ONE: AL-SADD (Wednesday 21st July)
Venue: SV Puch Ground, Puch bei Hallein
Al Sadd are Qatar’s most successful side who currently boast a host of Qatari internationals Khalfan Ibrahim, Mohamed Saqr and Abdullah Koni along with Abdul Keïta who featured for Cote d’Ivoire at at the World Cup and former Portsmouth duo Nadir Belhadj and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie. The also have the Brazilian forward Leandro Montera da Silva who has averaged over a goal a game since joining from the Japanese J-League in 2009.
Al Sadd are currently training in Salzburg and recently postponed a friendly with Romanian outfit Politehnica Timişoara because the ‘technical body said that the players did not reach the desired level.’
GAME TWO: KARLSRUHER SC (Friday 23rd July)
Venue: FC Hallein Ground, Hallein
Based in 2. Fußball-Bundesliga with a wealth of Bundesliga experience.
Karlsruher can boast an impressive list of former players including World Cup winners Guido Buchwald and Thomas Häßler, fellow German internationals such as Oliver Kahn, Mehmet Scholl and Jens Nowotny and other names you may recognise through spells in England like Slaven Bilić, Michael Tarnat and Sean Dundee who had a notoriously brief spell with Liverpool in the late 90’s.
As mentioned Karlruher were a Bundesliga mainstay until 1998 and have since then spent most of their time in the 2nd tier (apart from one season in the Regionalliga and two seasons back in the top flight).
