Scott Murray A Target For Swindon Town

The man who Swindon Town fans love to hate, Scott Murray could be set for a switch to the County Ground from local rivals Bristol City.

Town boss Maurice Malpas confirmed that Murray was a potential transfer target. ‘I have spoken to Bristol City about one or two of his (Gary Johnson) players and Scott Murray is one of them.” Malpas told the Swindon Advertiser.

Murray has been a target of banter from Swindon fans for many season and Murray has taken it in stride however it may be a case of keeping your enemies even closer.

Murray would be a good signing for Town however the Scotsman has been offered a new one year deal with Bristol City. Staying at City may be a more appealing situation for Murray as they are still in the Championship.
