Swindon have been drawn Paul Lambert’s Norwich City in the next round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

The good news is that this Southern Quarter-Final fixture is to be played at the County Ground so will not need to travel to Norfolk.

Swindon visit Norwich in the League on October 26 in what will be the first meeting between the two clubs since a Chris Hay brace gave Town an impressive 2-0 victory at Carrow Road in March 2000.

JOHNSTONE’S PAINT TROPHY – QUARTER-FINAL DRAW

Milton Keynes Dons v Northampton
Leyton Orient v Hereford
Swindon v Norwich
Southampton v Charlton

Northern Section:

Leeds v Grimsby
Accrington/Shrewsbury v Bury
Bradford v Port Vale

Ties to be played week commencing 9 November
