David Byrne has put Swindon Town Reserves 6-2 battering by Bristol City Reserves down to ‘a bad day at the office’. Hmm.

Bristol City included four players with full international experience along with the highly rated Christian Ribeiro aslo in the line-up.

City scored first through Cole Skuse after 17 minutes before Swindon equalised after 24 minutes through ex-City striker Lee Peacock who is making progress from finding full fitness after a long stint injured.

However, former Hibs favourite Ivan Sproule made it 2-1 to City on five minutes after Town levelled. Scottish forward David Clarkson made it 3-1 just before half-time.

In the second half Wales Under-21 international Christian Ribeiro, who was drafted into the full squad during the last international window scored twice on 48 and 62 minutes.

Lloyd Macklin finished the scoring three minutes later.
