Saturday’s clash between Swindon Town and Chesterfield at the County Ground saw fans treated to a four goal thriller.

A 96th minute stoppage time penalty for the hosts earned them a point as Luke Norris stepped up to the plate to level the scores up.

Timi Elsnik had given the hosts the one nil advantage early on in the second half as he struck in the 47th minute, but the visitors quickly hit back finding the net in minutes 56 and 72 through Kristian Dennis and Jak McCourt.

That seemed to have won them the points on the day until the penalty award late on where the match day referee adjudged that Norris had been hauled down in the box by Scott Wiseman.

Swindon would no doubt feel a share of the spoils was the least they deserved on the day as they racked up 15 efforts with six on target and the visitors had 11 efforts with three on goal.

The point leaves Swindon in the Play Off spots still, with Chesterfield still rooted to the bottom of the League Two table five points from safety.
