In a recent poll conducted by swindon.vitalfootball.co.uk asked whether Danny Wilson should bring his own coaching staff to Swindon.

The results are in and an overwhelming majority of voters would prefer to see the departures of assistant manager David Byrne, reserve team coach Adrian Williams and goalkeeping coach John Granville from the County Ground.

25% would like to see some change but not a complete overhaul.

73% Yes – A totally new set-up is required
25% Some should stay, some should go
1% No – Keep them all
1% Cannot decide

Before his move to Swindon, Danny Wilson had managed five other football clubs. It is interesting to learn that in each of these reigns Wilson has had a different assistant in place…

Eric Winstanley at Barnsley
Peter Shreeves at Sheffield Wednesday
Frank Barlow at Bristol City
Ian Bowyer at Milton Keynes Dons
Ian Butterfield at Hartlepool United

So it may be the 25% that get their way or even the minority who want all of the staff to remain!
