Sean Morrison has been voted the vital Swindon Town Young Player of the Season after a comprehensive win in a recent poll.

Morrison was brought to Swindon alongside Ben Tozer and Ben Joyce from Plymouth Argyle’s youth system when David Byrne arrived at the club.

It was Tozer and Joyce who initially impressed with Tozer earning a big move to Newcastle and Joyce scoring on his debut against Port Vale last season.

However, in a season where there has been little to smile about for Town fans, it can be largely agreed that Morrison’s input this season has been good. Playing 20 times and scoring 1.

Although by no means a finished article Morrison has showed decent promise which can be improved if he keeps working hard and more importantly doesn’t get lured into a big move to the Premiership!
