No Open Top Bus Parade For Swindon Town

Swindon Town will not have an open top bus parade should Swindon Town win promotion to the SkyBet Championship on Sunday.

The Swindon Advertiser reports that Swindon Borough Council approached Swindon Town FC to ask if they would be interested in hosting an open top bus parade and got little to no response.

The Adver quotes a spokesman from Swindon Borough Council as saying, “We asked the club if they had plans for a bus tour as soon as it was clear they would be in the play-offs and could secure promotion, but we were told they had no plans for one.

“We haven`t been approached by anyone at the club to discuss organising one since then, and it would now be too late to do it.
