Swindon Town striker Miles Storey will leave the club once his contract expires in the Summer.

Aberdeen who play in the Scottish Premier League have announced they have signed the striker.

The former England Under 19 striker looked to have a bright future at Swindon after scoring a brace against Aston Villa in the Carling Cup a few years ago but has seen his game time limited and was shipped out on loan several times.

Storey had failed to make an impression until he went on loan to Inverness Caledonian Thistle this season where he scored 13 goals in 37 appearances.

Inverness had been keen to turn Storey’s loan into a permanent deal however Inverness were unwilling to pay a large fee to Town.

Swindon had offered Storey a contract which he rejected in favour of returning north of the border.
