The official Swindon Town website has confirmed that young midfielder Lloyd Macklin has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a fracture in his left leg.

Macklin, 18, has progressed well since stepping up from the youth set-up under Danny Wilson. He’s featured in nine league fixtures, mostly as a substitute but has impressed.

Danny Wilson has said that it is unknown whether Macklin sustained the injury during training or during the half an hour he played against Brentford last weekend.
