Former Walsall manager Richard Money looks set to become the new manager of Swindon Town.

Town chairman Andrew Fitton has chosen his man to take over from Maurice Malpas. Due to the potential manager being employed, Town will have to thrash out a compensation package to land their man.

Money may not be the big name fans hoped for but Money was very popular and successful at The Banks’ Stadium where he lead Walsall to the League Two championship during the 2006/07 season.

Money left Walsall in the top half of the table after he accepted a job at Newcastle as Academy Director.
