Deputy Chairman Mark Devlin has said that thanks to the Bryan Adams concert, Iffy Onuora may have some extra money to spend on summer signings.

?We have a responsibility to try and generate as many revenue streams for the club as possible, to supplement what we are able to make on a match day.’ Swindon hardly makes any money from non-match day revenue streams and therefore the Bryan Adam’s concert is a welcome boost to the board.

Devlin then went to explain that while the club wont have millions to spend on players, due to this welcome boost, manager Iffy Onuora may have some money to use in the summer for potential signing. ?Clearly we have financial commitments to meet and bills to pay but obviously if we are able to up our income from X to Y then that would hopefully allow us to help the manager in terms of the playing budget.’

?We’re just delighted that we’ve been able to secure another concert here.It can hopefully provide the club, the town and its economy a boost.?

The club has stated they would like to have concerts at the County Ground every year. Last year the club had Elton John which brought over 18,000 fans to the ground. A redeveloped County Ground could potentially bring more fans should the proposed plans get the go ahead.
