Swindon Town midfielder/defender Charlie Comyn-Platt has signed a 18 month deal with Rochdale after agreeing a switch to Spotland.
Comyn-Platt joined Town from Premiership side Bolton Wanderers under former manager Andy King. Comyn-Platt arrived at Swindon along with Ricky Shakes prior to the 2005/05 season.
Comyn-Platt featured in 2 games for Swindon this season before suffering a shoulder injury.
Comyn-Platt was sent on loan to Conference side Grays Athletic where he featured in 4 games and returned last month.
Paul Sturrock had obviously deemed Comyn-Platt surplus to requirements along with Gareth Whalley, Fola Onibuje, and Royce Brownlie which has allowed Comyn-Platt to complete the move.
Comyn-Platt could feature for Rochdale next weekend as Town travel to Spotland to take on Rochdale.
