Carson Gone Within Two Weeks?

Swindon Town chairman Willie Carson could depart the club within two weeks.

Carson has been rumoured to be replaced as chairman by Bill Power and the club would like to resolve any off field issues sooner rather than later.

Speaking to the local media, Chief Executive Mark Devlin said the club plans on having a board meeting to tie up the loose ends prior to the clubs tour of Ibiza in mid July.

‘We would like to think we would have held the meeting before the team fly off to Ibiza.’ Devlin said.

‘It will be a general meeting where we discuss a whole range of things, including the make-up of the board.’

Power, an avid football fan, recently invested £1 Million into Swindon Town and has made it known money will be available for players, should the right person come along.
