David Byrne will continue his role as Swindon Town assistant manager for the 2009/2010 campaign.

With the exits of reserve team boss Ady Williams and goalkeeping coach John Granville it was unsure whether Danny Wilson would keep Byrne in his current role.

David Byrne was brought in by Paul Sturrock in 2006 from Plymouth College of Further Education bringing in Ben Tozer, Sean Morrison and Ben Joyce with him.

Since, Byrne has been promoted to assistant manager and has also acted as caretaker manager on two occasions.

Wilson has yet to appoint replacements for Williams or Granville.
