Statement From Swindon Town F.C

It is with great sadness that the club can announce that lifelong Town fan Andy Fitchett passed away peacefully on Sunday.

Andy was in the company of his family and under the care of the Prospect Hospice. Andy had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and had planned a ‘Living Wake’, which, in accordance with his wishes, will take place as planned in the Winners Lounge on the evening of Saturday 17th March 2007.

The club expresses it’s deepest sympathies and our wishes are with Andy’s family and friends. As a mark of respect a minute’s silence will be held before the Accrington game on Saturday.

Should any fans wish to pass their messages of condolences to Andy’s family, please email your message to chris@swindontownfc.co.uk and we will pass these on to Andy’s family accordingly.
