Former Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise was un-sympathetic towards Swindon Town’s current financial plight.
After Wise’s Leeds United beat Town 2-1 at Elland Road on the weekend Wise snapped at current Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock saying, ‘Please stop crying, Paul. We have been in the same situation ourselves. It’s how you deal with it that counts.’
Wise also went to say that he found a way of dealing with the embargo and said ‘At the moment I know he can’t do anything and it must be frustrating for him. He just has to get on with it. He has some decent players who caused us problems and I’m sure they will do well in this league.’
Leeds were hit with a 15 point deduction as well as a transfer embargo prior to this season but have since erased the 15 point deduction and currently find themselves 4th in the League One table.
