Wise: Sean O’ Talks Rubbish

Swindon Town Manager has slammed former Swindon Town captain Sean O’Hanlon after the former Everton man turned his back on his fans, team mates and manager by going back on his word.

O’Hanlon appeared set to sign a new three year contract at the County Ground but decided to sign with Milton keynes Dons because they were a ‘bigger club than Swindon’.

Many fans are stumped by this given the fact that the club has no history of it’s own and has never earned its position in the Football League. The only thing this ‘franchise’ is known for is stealing another town’s (Wimbledon) football club and relocating it 70 miles from the community it served.

Speaking to BBC Radio Swindon, Wise did not hold back, ‘I’m not too happy with Sean because Sean is not a man of his word and that’s the way it goes sometimes.

Wise although very bitter at the way O’Hanlon handled his departure he said he was happy he has left Swindon Town.

‘You find out about people and at the present moment I don’t think too highly of Sean O’Hanlon because he’s not a man of his word. So that’s Sean’s choice. That’s the way Sean does things. ‘

‘I think it’s wrong but it’s done and he’s gone and I’m quite glad that he’s gone now. He’s out the way because I don’t want people here that give you a load of rubbish really.’

Dennis Wise is already reaching legendary status at the County Ground with his strict fitness regime and his ‘if you don’t want to give a hundred percent to this club then goodbye’ approach.

Fans have been very impressed with the way Wise has approached this season. All players appear to have a clean slate and Wise has gone as far as to praise Christian Roberts, who suffered a nightmare season last year.

Wise’ approach to this season looks to be based on team spirit, fitness and confidence.
