Leeds United Manager Dennis Wise has revealed why he left Swindon Town to take the role at the Championship strugglers.
Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser Wise revealed why he left Town and thanks the supporters for their support during his short stay at the County Ground.
Wise revealed it was a pleasure to work with Mark Devlin and Bill Power but went on to criticise an un-named individual. ‘A small factor in my departure was that I found it difficult to work with an un-named individual connected with the Town.’
Wise went on to thank the supporters who made him feel welcome despite his previous history in football.’I`d like to say thanks to the fans who made me feel so welcome during my time there.’ Wise said.
The Advertiser also revealed that Wise would not comment on whether he was hurt by being called a judas by many fans but he clearly was hurt by it.

How can anyone call him a judas? He turned the team around – took no s**t and praised/punished the players when he needed to.
He never gave less than 100% to the job and now he called Judas for taking the chance to manage a big club with a huge pay rise.
Would anyone else turn that down? I don’t think so….
Has to be either Wills or Diamondes. Why are they intent on ruining this club, no great surprise that they would be part of the reason.
Dear me. Exactly the problem with appointing big name managers. They run at the first chance. Best of luck lads, but since you’ve beat us you’ve only gone down hill and it looks as if you’ll go even further down hill now unless you appoint a proper lower league manager? Maybe Horton?

I think this is smoke screen excuse, yes there probably was some background problem, but that was possibly the Ince fiasco but really the main reason(s) are all to obvious – huge club, more money, and Uncle Ken Bates (who I would love to shake warmly by the throat.)
