Dennis Wise made an emotional farewell and apologised to his former Swindon Town squad for leaving three months into the season and left a firm message ‘you deserve to go up’
‘You owe it to yourselves to keep on playing as you have and I have no doubt that you deserve to go up.’ Wise said.
Wise told his playing squad that the challenge at Leeds United was too big to turn down before talking to his former team mates individually and as a group.
Wise and Gus Poyet will be at Elland Road tonight to watch Leeds play Southend in their Carling Cup match.
