Swindon Town have been busy preparing for the 2010/11 season. However, they appear to have forgotten to tell us about Lloyd Macklin!

The young winger spent the first half of the season very much involved in first team affairs. He featured eight times in the league as a substitute and started the 0-0 draw against Milton Keynes Dons in August.

Later he spent a brief time on loan with Torquay United before being recalled but failed to break into the Town team.

Vital Swindon believe that Lloyd Macklin has indeed been released and news will follow shortly. Then again, we could be wrong!
