The Daily Mirror is reporting that West Brom manager Tony Pulis is eyeing up a move for Swindon Town’s Nathan Byrne with a £2m bid.

Byrne joined Town alongside Massimo Luongo from Spurs 2 years ago and should Town cash in Spurs would be entitled to 50% of any fee.

Byrne was a mainstay in the Town side this year that reached the League One playoff final and scored the winning goal at Sheffield United to give Town a 2-1 lead heading into the second leg of the semi-finals.

Byrne gets forward but at times can look a bit off the pace so it would would look from the outside he may struggle with the pace of the Premier League but if the £2m offer is true, we would certainly snap West Brom’s hand off, and drive him to the Hawthorns ourselves.

Byrne clearly has talent and is a good League One player but honestly could not see him making the grade at West Brom. Time will tell I guess depending on if a bid is actually made.
