Match Facts & Stats
Goals from John Murphy and Danny Swailes gave the then bottom Macclesifled Town a 2-1 win over Swindon Town on 23rd December 2006. Lee Peacock scored Swindon’s goal on the 64th minute in an otherwise dissapointing match for Swindon.
Swindon have been fantastic at home this season and many of the crowd are finally starting to believe, ‘WE ARE GOING UP’. Macclesfield’s good run has to end eventually however I think both teams would be happy with a draw.
