Torquay United have been reported to the FA after an incident at the Swindon Town/Torquay match on Saturday at Plainmoor.

Some Torquay fans were upset at the referee’s decision to award a penalty to Swindon and a fan in the home end, spat at the assistant referee.

We encourage that if any Swindon Town supporters have any information in regards to this disgraceful act to contact Torquay United Football Club.

Torquay United have been reported to the Football Association following an incident at the Swindon Town match on Saturday.

The match referee has stated in his report that ‘whilst walking off the pitch the Assistant Referee was spat on by a person occupying the home supporters area.’
