Swindon Town have had a £125,000 bid for Wycombe’s Jermaine Easter rejected by the League 2 club.
Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock is keen to sign a striker ahead of the transfer deadline after an injury to Barry Corr sidelined him for the first 2 months of the season.
Town have been lacking firepower up front and see Easter as the main to solve their striker crisis.
Town may have a problem though as many Championship clubs are after Easter`s services as well as the MK Dons who are rumoured to have tabled a £675,000 bid.
According to the Western Daily Press Wycombe rejected Swindon`s offer as derisory and will think about making an improved offer for the highly rated Welsh International.
