Forgive me, it has been a quiet week. The club has seemingly gone into lockdown on the transfer front. However, a few of those brilliant online rumours have started to emerge over the weekend.

It is hoped that this coming week will see some much anticipated transfer activity.

But as long as it’s quiet let us have a look at who has been linked.

JOE DEVERA (Barnet):

The popular product of the Barnet youth set-up has won various supporters awards during his time at Underhill including the Player of the Year (twice) and Most Improved accolade.

The 24 year old left-back has plenty of League 2 experience.

JONATHAN SMITH (York City):

Linked to Swindon via Twitter. The official York City website gives a brief career description:

‘A close season signing from Forest Green Rovers with whom he had spent three years.

He developed through the Morecambe youth scheme and before joining Rovers had loan spells with Fleetwood Town and Bamber Bridge.’

UNNAMED FOREST GREEN ROVERS PLAYER:

Caroline Baker, presenter of BBC Radio’s The Non-League Show, tweeted at an awards ceremony on Saturday evening:

‘Oooo Forest Green selling a player to Swindon’

It’s believed to most likely be England C international Reece Styche.
