Swindon Town`s FA Cup third round tie against Barclay`s Premier League side Wigan Athletic is almost a sell-out.

The Arkells Stand and Don Rogers Stand are completely sold out apart from season ticket holders seats which will be held until the 2nd of January. There was only 200 seats left in the Townend according to the club`s Facebook page earlier on today.

Town fans are looking forward to this winnable encounter against a Premier League side that is struggling this season.

Wigan Athletic have so far been allocated 500 for their supporters. It is not known how many of those tickets have been sold and if Wigan will require more.

Should all 3 home stands sell out and should Wigan Athletic not require more than 1,000 seats, Town are considering opening the Stratton Bank for Swindon Town fans for this match only.
