Swindon Town have announced the signing of midfielder Jake Reeves after his contract was terminated by Championship side Brentford earlier in the day.

Reeves began his career at Spurs before moving to Brentford in 2009 after then-manager Nicky Forster offered him a contract.

Reeves made 47 appearances for Brentford as well as having loan spells at St. Albans City and AFC Wimbledon.

Prior to his departure Bees Boss Mark Warburton said ‘Jake is well-liked, well respected and very talented but he needs to play week-in, week-out,’

Reeves contract currently takes him up until January 2015 and is subject to Football League approval.
