Swindon Town who are facing more financial problems have been fined £5,000 for fielding an under strength team in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.
Town who beat Brentford 4-1 with an impressive win infront of the biggest crowd in the southern part of the competition failed to field 7 players from the team that played Saturday.
The club have appealed to the Football League however this is likely to fall on deaf ears.
