Swindon Town Manager Dennis Wise has revealed he has two goalkeepers on trial with three to follow.

Speaking after Training Wise adressed the goalkeeping situation at the club.

‘We have got a couple of goalkeepers on trial and another coming in next week,’ Wise said ‘and then I’ll probably bring in another two after that.’

One of those goalkeepers on trial is believed to be Steve Phillips who was recently at west country rivals Bristol City.

City Manager Gary Johnson has made it clear that Phillips can leave on a free along with several other City players including former Town player, Grant Smith.

Another one of the goalkeepers believed to be in Wise’s thought’s is, Andy Marshall who was with Wise at Millwall.

Town have been left with no goalkeepers after the departure of Rhys Evans to Blackpool and the release of Matt Bulman at the conclusion of last season.

wise is atracting a lot of players , i think phillips would be a good signing . I would nt mind having smith back either even though he was a greedy ba’#;d

Sounds good to me – I know lets have all 5 , line them up all along the goal -line for 90 mins of the match, that should help us stop leaking goals.
