Swindon Set To Slash Wage Bill

Swindon Town will be a different team next season with the board already stating the wage bill will be slashed after Paolo Di Canio’s wild spending.

This was the team that had to go up and with our fate now sealed you can expect a mix if young and current players to pick up the pieces heading into next season.

Many players including stalwarts Simon Ferry and Aden Flint are expected to leave now and be replaced by young Premier League players who didn’t quite make it at their current club.

Next season will be hard with Bristol City expected to challenge as well as Wolves and Coventry, Preston and Walsall who are all on the up.

Without being negative, next season could be very long indeed if the team doesn’t gel and pick itself up quickly from this result.
