Swindon Town have raided the Hornets nest and signed 2 players from Championship side Watford.

New boss Maurice Malpas has got on the phone to improve his squad and has signed a midfielder and a striker as Town push on for the League One playoffs.

Anthony McNamee has signed a permanent contract at the club and had his best season at Watford 2 seasons ago when he helped take Watford to the Premier League.

McNamee played 10 games for Watford last season in the Premier League however he has been limited to 2 games this season.

Malpas also went to boost Town’s striking options by bringing in Moses Ashikodi also from Watford on loan until the end of the season.

Ashikodi has represented England at Youth level and played for Millwall, Rangers, Bradford City and Gillingham.
