Swindon Town are looking into beaming our local derby with Oxford United back to the County Ground.

Many Town fans have expressed their disappointment at being given the bare minimum ticket allocation allowed by the Football League by Oxford United, for our vital League Two clash on 3rd of March.

Swindon Town hierarchy have confirmed they are doing everything possible to ensure as many fans as possible get to see the match, with most fans set to miss out getting tickets to the match.

One option being discussed is getting the game fed live back to the Legends Lounge at the County Ground.

A lot of fans are keen to watch the match live, although a few are put off by the potential of trouble during such a high profile clash.

From our experience, most people in Oxford City Centre couldn’t care less about Oxford United but, the Blackbird Leys locals aren`t known to be the most welcoming of hosts to Swindon Town supporters you see.

Details on how to buy the “golden tickets” to watch Town V Oxford live at the Kassam Stadium will be released on the clubs official website tomorrow with season ticket holders expected to get preference of 1 ticket per season ticket holder.

Many fans have already said they will be camping outside the County Ground ticket office to get a hold of tickets which will no doubt sell out on the first day of sale.
